Statement of Water Charges to Brooks Residents:
Water Rates – Minimum bill of $18.48 for the first 2,000 gallons: $3.23 per 1,000 gallons thereafter for ¾" meter; larger meters have a base rate, plus $3.23 per 1,000 gallons.
Conservation Rates – Applies to residential and irrigation meters, ¾" and 1" meters: $18.48 for the first 2,000 gallons; $3.23 per 1,000 gallons for next 17,999 gallons; and $4.39 per 1,000 gallons thereafter. Larger size meters --- 1½", 2", 3" and 4" residential and irrigation meters have a base rate depending upon the size meter installed, plus $3.23 per 1,000 gallons for the next 19,999 gallons; $4.39 per 1,000 gallons thereafter.
There is a 10% penalty for payments received after the due date. If a previous balance appears on bill, water service is subject to be interrupted twenty (20) days past the due date on the last month's bill. The reconnect charge is $50.00.

Solid Waste Service
Garbage service is available through the Town of Brooks and provided by AmWaste. You must live within the Brooks Town Limits to qualify. Costs are $45.63 per quarter (three months) for one (1) cart; $70.81 per quarter (three months) for two (2) carts. Pickup is on Wednesdays; Thursdays in the event of a holiday. Garbage service is billed quarterly by the Town of Brooks.
